It’s MORE FUN in the Philippines: Madayaw! Davao!

Paradise Island, Samal, Davao

Paradise Resort, Samal, Davao

Paradise Resort is in Samal Island. It’s a fifteen minute boat ride from Davao City. Although it does not have a wide shoreline, the water is clear and there are lots of activities to do. The price is also affordable, and the place has been popular with tourists.

After the long drive from the port, it is really good to have a sumptuous meal while enjoying the view of the whole city. Jack’s Ridge offers delicious yet affordable meals. I personally enjoyed the “Bihod” or the eggs of the tuna.

The designs are also very Filipino. It is really a must visit place in Davao.

This is another view from the restaurant. I called it the “Mayan’s offering ground.” I don’t know what to call this, but I felt like I time traveled. πŸ™‚

The long and winding road going to Eden Nature Park. I was really excited. I forgot that I didn’t have the chance to try zorbing (the zorb park closed last year 😦 ).

Instead of Zorb, I was ecstatic to try this. It’s called Skycycling. Just by its name, you know it’s worth a try.

Eden is on the mountain top so it’s like little Baguio. There are lots of pine trees.

You can’t leave without taking a picture. Show some loving, i guess. There are many more to see, but some of my pictures are on my laptop, so these will do for now.

Madayaw! Davao! Enjoy!
