Last year, (although it’s kinda weird to say this phrase since it’s just been days) many things happened and experiences were gained. Some maybe quite troublesome while most of them surely made my life fun and worthy to be treasured. So here are the list why I love 2011 and I’m looking forward to a more eventful and rocking 2012… =)
1. Most of my “first times” happened:
- graduated my FIRST degree on time
- made my first thesis together with my partner Kurimao
- went to Boracay for the FIRST time last Feb (because of a field trip) and the second time last May together with my family.
- missed my SECOND prom in college because of my field trip in Micro Bio.
- went to Manila for the FIRST time. It was fun yet a scary experience because I had the feeling that the big city will eat me.
- FIRST time in Divisoria
- went to Bacolod for the SECOND time to meet my uncle for the FIRST time.
- Visited the Ruins for the FIRST time together with my mom, sis and niece.
- FIRST time to have and wear a wig in school and while going home.
- FIRST time to wear short shorts while roaming around the city and going home.
-FIRST time to wear wedge.
- FIRST time to curl my hair.
- FIRST time to have an undercut.
- FIRST time to ask someone ( a guy of course) to be my promdate yet it was epic fail. And luckily, I didn’t have the chance to join the prom.hahaha
- SECOND time to have a picture with my crushes…but it’s actually the FIRST time that I asked them to smile for the camera.
- FIRST time to eat dinner with my four-year friend.
- FIRST time to talk to him for more than 30 seconds.
-FIRST time to have my own camera.
- FIRST time to have my own blower.
- FIRST time to give a guy a pair of boxers
- FIRST time to eat at Sbarro, fried ice cream, crepe, frozen kangkong
-FIRST time to cook sunny-side up.
- FIRST time to undergo ECG and other laboratory tests other than the common ones.
- FIRST time to land a job. Teaching Koreans was fun.
- FIRST heartbreak (and to think I never experienced having a boyfriend during my college days… I only dated but never had a relationship =| )
- FIRST radio drama with my two lovable partners Tatay and Nanay.
- FIRST time to take pictures with some Dinosaurs.
- FIRST time to sleepover with my childhood friends.
- FIRST notebook (thanks to my tita and to my salary… I don’t have to borrow my sister’s laptop and wait for my mother to finish using the desktop computer)
-FIRST paycheck
-FIRST operation
- FIRST tripod
- FIRST Manga
- FIRST free cellphone from Smart
- FIRST major fight with my parents (but I’m trying to control my temper now)
- FIRST time to live in the city on my own without my friends
- FIRST time to apply for SSS, BIR and PHIL HEALTH
- FIRST time to have my hair colored vividly
2. I’ve realized many things like:
- Old friends would always be there even if they seldom communicate.
- Parents will do anything for their children.
- You can always count on yourself in times of facing challenges.
3. Giving up is not a wise choice. It’s a distraction everyone should avoid doing.
